Lawrence Jones Expresses Excitement About Taking On New Role at Fox News – What’s Next for This Rising Star?…..

Lawrence Jones has officially joined FOX & Friends, FOX News Media announced on Thursday. Starting September 18, he will co-host the morning show alongside Steve Doocy, Ainsley Earhardt, and Brian Kilmeade from 6-9 AM. Jones, 30, becomes the youngest Black co-host of a cable news program.

Jones, who joined FOX News in 2018, previously served as an enterprise reporter, traveling the country to interview Americans. He will continue in this role while joining FOX & Friends. In his statement, Jones expressed gratitude for the opportunity and excitement about connecting with the audience.

FOX & Friends remains the top-rated morning news program, consistently outperforming its competitors. Jones also made history as the youngest Black solo host on cable news with his show Lawrence Jones Cross Country, which ran from January 2022 until last week. The show has since been replaced by One Nation with Brian Kilmeade on Saturday nights.

Jones cited advice from Sean Hannity to “just be LJ” as a guiding principle in his career.
