Melania Trump Has Spent Fewer Than 14 Days At The White House Since January—Sources Say That’s “Generous”

Melania Trump has spent less than 14 days at the White House since her husband’s second term began in January 2025, with some sources even suggesting that estimate is generous. The former First Lady has largely kept a low profile, making limited public appearances, including attending the White House Easter Egg Roll and the funeral of Pope Francis.

She has also spoken out on issues like “revenge porn” and AI-generated intimate images affecting young women.

Melania’s absence from the White House has sparked questions, as she prefers to live at Trump Tower in New York with her son, Barron, rather than on the presidential grounds. Donald Trump, too, has spent significant time away from the White House, staying at his personal properties like Mar-a-Lago.

In interviews, Melania has expressed that her main priorities are being a mother, wife, and First Lady, and that she will be in the White House when needed. While she has her own views, she supports her husband’s decisions, even if they sometimes disagree.
