Barack And Michelle Obama Break Silence After Biden’s Cancer Diagnosis

Barack and Michelle Obama React to Biden’s Cancer Diagnosis Amid Political Tensions

After President Joe Biden was diagnosed with an aggressive form of prostate cancer that has spread to his bones, Barack Obama expressed support, despite recent political tensions. “Michelle and I are thinking of the entire Biden family,” he wrote on X, praising Biden’s leadership in cancer research and expressing hope for a full recovery. The diagnosis, which followed reports of a prostate nodule, was confirmed as a Gleason score 9 cancer — one of the most aggressive forms. Biden’s team stated the cancer is hormone-sensitive and treatable.

Michelle Obama reposted Barack’s message but did not add her own words. Her silence and past decisions, like not speaking at the 2024 DNC while Biden was still the nominee, have fueled rumors of a rift — especially linked to her loyalty to Kathleen Buhle, Hunter Biden’s ex-wife.

Reports suggest Barack Obama lost confidence in Biden after his poor 2024 debate performance against Trump and covertly supported efforts to replace him. Biden was said to feel betrayed but endorsed Kamala Harris after stepping down. Harris later lost the election, leading to Democratic regret over Biden’s late withdrawal. Trump and other GOP figures, including Marjorie Taylor Greene and Donald Trump Jr., expressed sympathy, with Trump wishing Biden a speedy recovery. Meanwhile, a forthcoming book, Original Sin, claims there was a cover-up of Biden’s cognitive decline during his presidency.
