Country Legend Lorrie Morgan Mourns Loss Of Husband Randy White At 72

Country singer Lorrie Morgan, 65, is mourning the loss of her husband, Randy White, who passed away on June 1, 2025, after battling mouth cancer diagnosed in 2024. The couple had been married for over ten years.

Morgan announced his passing on Facebook, calling White her “champion” and “rock.” Her son Jesse Keith Whitley also paid tribute, sharing heartfelt memories of White’s kindness and support. Due to White’s illness, Morgan postponed several shows earlier in the year to care for him.

White was a retired businessman from Tennessee. Morgan, a Nashville native and Grand Ole Opry member since 1984, has had a long music career with hits like “Except for Monday.” This was her sixth marriage and first to a non-musician.

Despite personal challenges, Morgan remained active in music, releasing her latest album in 2024 and continuing to work on projects.
