Scarface and Ghostbusters star dies age 88

The entertainment world mourns the loss of Harris Yulin, a celebrated actor who died at 87 from cardiac arrest in New York City on June 10.

Known for his fiery judge role in Ghostbusters II and memorable parts in Scarface, Clear and Present Danger, and Training Day, Yulin left a lasting mark on film, TV, and theater. He received an Emmy nomination for Frasier and appeared in shows like Ozark, Veep, and Billions.

A respected stage actor, he played Hamlet three times off-Broadway and taught at Juilliard for eight years. Yulin was preparing for a new TV series, American Classic, before his passing.

Colleagues praised him as one of the greatest artists—graceful, humble, and generous. He is survived by his wife, actress Kristen Lowman, a son-in-law, nephew, and godchildren, and was predeceased by his daughter, Claire Lucido.
