She urged the audience to support the American Red Cross and to be prepared for emergencies. She also shared a heartbreaking Instagram post about the loss of her church, where she had gotten sober 25 years ago.
Curtis plans to return home to help her family and friends, stressing the importance of community support. The fires have already claimed lives and destroyed thousands of homes, with efforts to contain them ongoing. Curtis’s plea highlights the need for immediate aid, and donations to organizations like the Red Cross can help those impacted.
