Doctor who worked with Joe Biden says he had cancer “while president”

A leading oncologist who previously worked with Joe Biden claimed the former president likely had prostate cancer long before it was publicly revealed.

Biden’s office announced he had been diagnosed with aggressive, metastatic prostate cancer after reporting urinary symptoms. The cancer, with a Gleason score of 9, had already spread to his bones but is hormone-sensitive, meaning it can be treated.

Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel, who advised Biden’s transition team, said the cancer likely developed years ago, possibly even before Biden became president in 2021.

He called it “inconceivable” that such an advanced cancer wasn’t detected earlier and suggested a PSA test should have been done sooner. This delay has raised questions and fueled speculation, including from Donald Trump, who questioned whether the public was misled for political reasons.
