Patrick Swayze remained devoted to his wife, Lisa Niemi, throughout his life. The couple, who shared a deep bond, were married for 34 years until Swayze’s passing at age 58, twelve years ago. Their love story began when Lisa was 15 and took ballet classes with Patrick, who was in his early 20s. Unlike other girls, Lisa didn’t chase him, which intrigued him. Eventually, their feelings grew, and they married in 1975.
Though they couldn’t have children and faced personal hardships—including the loss of a child and struggles with Patrick’s drinking after the deaths of his father and sister—their love endured. They shared a passion for dancing and even started a business together. Lisa’s support helped Patrick overcome many challenges.
After his death, Lisa found comfort in the memory of his wish for her to live happily. She later found love again with jeweler Albert DePrisco. The two married and now live together in Florida, both 65 years old.
