Figure Skating Sisters Everly, 14, and Alydia, 11, Along with Their Parents, Die in Washington Plane Crash – Details

Two sisters, Alydia (11) and Everly (14) Livingston, competitive figure skaters from a devoted family, were among the victims of the recent plane collision near Washington, D.C. The sisters, returning from the U.S. Figure Skating Championships in Wichita, died in the crash along with their parents, Peter and Donna Livingston, and other passengers on Flight 5342.
The sisters were passionate about skating from a young age, with their father creating a rink in their backyard each year. They were known for their enthusiasm and talent, with Alydia recently earning a spot at a skating camp and Everly excelling in jumps and spins. Their deaths have deeply affected the skating community, with tributes pouring in for their bright futures that were tragically cut short.
The crash, which occurred on January 29, also claimed the lives of other U.S. Figure Skating athletes, coaches, and family members, including Jinna Han, Spencer Lane, and coaches Evgenia Shishkova and Vadim Naumov. The FAA and NTSB are investigating the collision between an American Airlines jet and a U.S. Army helicopter. US Figure Skating expressed their grief, offering condolences to the families of those lost.
