Opinion: Bianca Censori should be banned for life from Grammys

The Grammy Awards were overshadowed by Bianca Censori, Kanye West’s wife, who wore a near-nude, transparent dress that exposed her entire body.

While fashion has evolved, there’s a time and place for everything, and such a bold choice at a major event like the Grammys—where she wasn’t even nominated—distracted from the actual purpose of the night.

Some speculated that Kanye might have influenced her choice, but that remains unproven. Regardless, Censori’s attention-grabbing outfit shifted focus away from the artists and professionals being honored.

While self-expression is important, there should be limits to how much skin one can reveal in public events. Celebrities, especially those with large followings like Censori, should consider the impact of their actions.

The Grammys should take this seriously, perhaps even banning Censori from future events, to maintain some level of decorum. This isn’t about being old-fashioned but about recognizing when to draw a line.
